- RGS – Outsourcing Services for Accounting and Tax Firms
Empowers accounting and tax firms to achieve excellence through innovative outsourcing solutions, exceptional expertise, and seamless collaboration.
Operating from Lahore, Pakistan, RGS’s team of trained and qualified professionals provides Audit support, tax preparation and compliance, bookkeeping and accounting, and secondment services.
Rahat is also a Co-Founder and Partner of Rahat Aqeel & Co. Chartered Accountants, a firm that offers a range of professional services, including auditing, taxation, and consultancy.
Rahat holds several prestigious qualifications:
- Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP)
- Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) from ICAEW
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA-USA.
He has over 16 years of experience in the fields of finance, auditing, corporate compliance, and advisory services, working with clients across various industries and sectors.
Rahat had also served as the Group Corporate and Financial Advisor for The United Insurance Company of Pakistan Limited, a leading insurance company in the country. He was responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, reporting standards, and financial management policies. He has also been instrumental in implementing IFRS standards, developing financial models, and conducting IT and Information System Audits.
Previously, he was a Senior Manager in Audit at RSM Avais Hyder Liaquat Nauman Chartered Accountants, where he gained valuable experience in external and internal audits, forensic and investigative audits, and compliance audits.
